Itinerary

To help you get your bearings, we have included a half day morning sightseeing tour featuring Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. This morning’s sightseeing tour will finish in Central London.

Then London is yours. Explore the British Museum, visit the City of London''s business district and the Tower of London. Call in at Madame Tussaud''s or browse through the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. Don''t miss the Changing of the Guard or a River Thames cruise to Greenwich, home of the Royal Maritime Museum and the Cutty Sark.

Shopping is just as tempting and just as varied. Department stores line Oxford and Regent Streets. Famous labels parade down Bond Street and along the Burlington Arcade. Harrods and the many boutiques of Knightsbridge are surely a must. There are antiques and curiosities in Camden Market, Portobello Road and Chelsea''s Kings Road.

And you can make the most of your stay with a selection of optional excursions, from Windsor Castle to Oxford''s ornate colleges or even head out to
Shakespeare''s Stratford.

Also included in Trafalgar''s London Week are tickets to a West End show. (Please note tickets to all shows are subject to availability.) Plus, the bonus three days free travel on the city''s Central bus and Underground network.

Trafalgar''s carefully selected London hotels include the Copthorne Tara, voted "friendliest in the UK" by the Executive Travel Magazine. London is a year-round city.

Because there are special events all year round, there''s no wrong time of year. Any time is just the right time to visit London.

In what is traditionally called the off-season – Autumn and Winter – London shows more of its true character. There is as much to see and do. Museums stay open and the curtains of the West End still go up on some of the world''s greatest shows.

The main difference is that there are fewer tourists. This means more room for you to admire the city''s pageantry and history, better seats in the theatre, and shopping with some excellent bargains – especially at Christmas and during the January Sales.

Itinerary

Seven unforgettable nights in one of Europe''s favourite capitals. We start with a sightseeing tour featuring views of the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysées, the
Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral. We also feature a cruise on the Seine River plus a visit to the Fragonard Perfumery and Museum.

Also included is a special highlight half day''s excursion to Louis XIV''s Palace of Versailles, one of the world''s grandest, with its spectacular ornamental gardens.

The best thing about this vacation is that you have really got time to get to know Paris – and you will still want to come back for more, whatever time of year, because it''s always wonderful.

Museum lovers will never tire – try the Impressionists in the Musée d''Orsay or the new wing of the Louvre – plus all the old favourites such as the Mona Lisa and the Pompidou Centre.

Shop in chic boutiques and elegant department stores or just sit in an outdoor café and watch the world go by - it''s just like a fashion show!

And when the sun goes down, you need not stop there. Parisian nightlife will beckon, for it is truly legendary. Perhaps try a cabaret at the Nouvelle Eve or a Champagne show at the Moulin Rouge or maybe wander through the Latin Quarter and dine out in Bohemian Montmartre.

Also, don''t forget Giverny and the home and gardens of the Impressionist painter Claude Monet or visit Disneyland Paris just outside the city.

If you''ve visited Paris, then you know why we''re inviting you back to discover one of Europe''s most talked about cities.
