Hearty Breakfasts every day

Throughout Europe, Trafalgar features Full Buffet breakfasts of cold meats, cheeses, fresh bread rolls, butter, preserves, often with an appetizing hot dish. In England, Ireland and on cruises, you'll tuck into a Fully Cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, sausages and mushrooms. All Trafalgar breakfasts feature fruit juice and a choice of tea or coffee. Lunch is always at your discretion.

Dinner is served

You'll look forward to Trafalgar's included dinners at your hotel and in popular featured local restaurants. To allow you even more exciting dining opportunities, in major cities like Paris and Rome, and in common with other tour companies, dinners are not included, and with good reason. The sheer variety of inviting Bistros and restaurants in these great cities is so tempting, each one offering a wide choice of menus at prices to suit all pockets, you'll certainly want to discover them for yourself. There is also a fabulous choice of exciting Optional highlight Dinners, often with entertainment included.

Exciting Highlight dinners

On most tours of one week or longer Trafalgar include Highlight dinners. Trafalgar's Highlight dining experiences include the authentic ambience of the restaurant Le Khoudou in Nice and the restaurant La Chaumière in Monte Carlo. There's a taste of real Italy in Ristorante La Bitta in Milan, the Quatro Amici and La Certosa in Renaissance Florence, and for a complete change of flavors, there's the superb Floating Sea Palace restaurant in Amsterdam. So why not give your taste buds a well deserved treat and enjoy Europe's tempting cuisine in unrivalled Trafalgar style. 

About Dining

Enjoy full buffet breakfasts
You'll enjoy full buffet breakfasts every morning to start the day. These generally include a choice of cold meats, cheeses, bread rolls, butter and preserves, often with an additional hot dish and coffee or tea. For the healthy eater there are always fruit juices, cereals and often yogurt.

Hearty cooked breakfasts
In the countryside of Britain and Ireland, you'll tuck in to traditional English or Irish cooked breakfasts of bacon, sausage, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and more. Cooked breakfasts are also included on cruises, while traditional buffet breakfasts in Israel are more like main meals than dawn eye-openers!

Most evening meals included
Around half of your evening meals are included. You'll sit down to superb three course dinners, with coffee to follow. On certain tours, you can look forward to exciting and convivial evenings out at popular local restaurants, serving delicious regional specialties.

You are free to choose
In common with most tour companies, lunchtimes are free to do your own thing. Maybe try out local dishes or snacks, whether it's coffee and a sandwich, an inexpensive bar meal in an English pub, or a baguette and a glass of wine in a bustling French sidewalk café.

Reservations not needed
On all included and highlight dinners in hotels and local specialty restaurants, you'll always find your table laid and specially reserved for Trafalgar clients.

Optional gourmet experiences
There are times when you'll want to 'splash out' on a special dinner and maybe a show in many of Europe's great cities. Trafalgar have an exciting selection of special Optional Highlight Dinners, many include entertainment. A colorful Can Can show in Paris or a Swiss Fondue and Folklore show in Lucerne. A list of these attractively priced Optional evenings will be sent with your tour documentation. And don't forget, your Tour Director will know where to find that intimate French Bistro for a romantic evening out for two. Just ask!
