Day 1- Depart USA Overnight transatlantic flight to London.
Day 2- Arrive London Time to relax after checking into your Trafalgar hotel.

Day 3 - London - Paris (2 nights) Greetings from our Tour Director as we make our way to Dover and enjoy views of the White Cliffs. A short Channel crossing takes us to Calais in France. We join our coach and drive to elegant Paris for our two-night stay. (Continental Breakfast)

Hotel: Mercure Porte D''Orleans (2 nights)
Day 4 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure Our morning sightseeing tour includes views of the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées, Place de la Concorde and Notre Dame Cathedral. Later enjoy time at leisure to explore. (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 5 - Paris - Lake Lucerne (2 nights) We drive through Burgundy wine country on our way to Switzerland. Later, we reach our hotel near beautiful lakeside Lucerne where we spend the next two nights. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 6 - Lucerne at leisure Our orientation tour shows us the Lion Monument and the Old Town. Later shop for chocolates and Swiss watches or take a mountain excursion. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)
Day 7 - Lake Lucerne - Rhineland (Wiesbaden) We start with a drive via Zurich to Schaffhausen stopping to view the mighty Rhine Falls. Next we enjoy a scenic drive through the Black Forest, past Lake Titisee, which brings us to Freiburg. Then to Heidelberg with its ancient castle and on to our hotel in the Rhineland.(Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Airport Transfers

London Gateways: A Trafalgar bonus – transfers can be expensive, particularly between the Airport and central London. When you book your Costsaver tour with Trafalgar your transfers to and from the airport are included. It''s that simple. Trafalgar has included a Free transfer to and from your airport and Central London.
Important – Please Note: Passengers will only be entitled to transfers to and from London Airports providing the following conditions are met:
You are staying at a London hotel, booked by Trafalgar, on the night of your arrival and the night prior to the date of your departure.
Flights are either booked by Trafalgar or detailed information on flights is provided by your Travel Agent not less than 21 days prior to departure.
Only one included transfer both inbound and outbound per tour is included by Trafalgar. Transfers are by express train to a Central London Rail Station.
Heathrow Express operates between 05.10-23.30. Gatwick Express operates inbound services between 05.20-23.45 and outbound services from 04.30-23.45. Transfers outside of these times are at the passengers own expense.
In the event of unforeseen events (road or rail works, demonstrations, strikes) Trafalgar will not be held responsible for delayed or cancelled transfers.
No refund is available for passengers not utilising this service.

Day 4 - London - Paris (2 nights) A warm welcome from your Tour Director as we drive to Dover for our short sea-crossing to Calais in France. Here we drive across the Somme battlefields to the glittering city of Paris. (Continental Breakfast)

Day 5 - Paris sightseeing & at leisure Our morning guided sightseeing tour includes views of Notre Dame Cathedral on the Ile de la Cite, the broad Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe, the Opera and the Eiffel Tower. Tonight why not enjoy dinner in a quaint Parisian bistro? (Buffet Breakfast)
Day 6 - Paris - Lake Lucerne We drive south through the Burgundy vineyards and on to lakeside Lucerne. We see the Chapel Bridge and poignant Lion Monument before dinner at the hotel. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 - Lake Lucerne – Florence (Prato) First we have the chance to take a mountain trip before we head for Italy. Then we continue south towards the area of the commercial and fashion capital of Italy, Milan, and cross the forested Appenine Hills, to reach the beautiful city of Florence.
