Romance, a full-service wedding and vow renewal program.
The following
information will assist you in creating
a unique and romantic ceremony
aboard one of our elegant vessels. We offer packages designed with a variety
of alternatives to fit your wishes and budget. You may also create a more
customized ceremony by adding options from our separate Wedding and Vow
Renewal Extras section to your ceremony package.

Wedding Guidelines (Please Read)
Royal Romance ceremonies are designed to handle every detail so
that your special day will be carefree. Please review the
following information on booking a Royal Romance package. Due to
the popularity of the program, bridal couples should call to check
availability of wedding dates prior to booking their cruise. A
Royal Romance Consultant will be pleased to place a 72-hour hold
on your selection.
- The Bridal couple must be sailing to hold a ceremony onboard
a ship and must book their cruise prior to booking their
wedding package.
- Wedding packages are available in Fort Lauderdale, Los
Angeles, Miami, New York City, Port Canaveral, St. Thomas, and
Vancouver. New as of January 2001 - Bermuda, Halifax, Juneau,
Kona, San Juan, and Seattle.
- Weddings are performed in Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles,
Miami, New York City, Port Canaveral, San Juan, Seattle and
Vancouver on the day of sailing, prior to the ship departing,
between the hours of 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Legal ceremonies
cannot be performed while at sea.
- All wedding enhancements must be booked and paid for as
early as possible. No additions or changes are possible less
than (30) days prior to the sailing date.
- The bridal couple is responsible for obtaining a valid
marriage license. For an additional service charge of $100.00
we can assist you in obtaining your marriage license. This
service is available in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and St. Thomas.
Please ask your wedding consultant for details.
- Miami wedding ceremonies are performed by a Notary Public.
You may also provide your own clergy to perform your ceremony.
- Royal Romance strongly recommends that the bridal party
arrive at least one day prior to sailing to avoid late
flights, traffic etc. on their wedding day. It is the
bridal couples responsibility that they arrive at the wedding
on time. In some ports, Royal Caribbean offers a Day Prior
program for guests arriving the day prior to boarding. this
program includes hotel accommodations, tax, porterage,
transfers (if guests are air/sea) and cruise check in at the
hotel.

In celebration of your wedding anniversary or for just a romantic
surprise, the ship's host will assist you in renewing your vows.
The ship's Captain does not perform Vow Renewal ceremonies.
