Aqua Babies Ages 6-18 Months
To make your time onboard even more enjoyable, join in the fun of Aqua Babies and Aqua Tots, interactive classes developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price. Simply head over to Guest Relations to pick up a copy of the daily Compass that matches your child?s age. While you?re there, check out Adventure Ocean for older kids?with great facilities for art, science, and games. We?ll be here for your family as your children grow!

Treat your baby to the inspiration and joy of music, as we introduce musical instruments and explore rhythm, movement and creativity.

Did I do that? As babies start to understand the magic of cause and effect, they gain self-confidence and a sense of control. Join us in activities with things that roll, helping babies learn how they affect the world around them.
- Mission Accomplished
Baby will enjoy challenging, age-appropriate activities and, with your help, enhance their willingness to try new things. This playgroup encourages baby's sense of accomplishment while building skills.
- Everyday Early Learning
Reinforce early learning of simple concepts - like the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors - with hands-on exploration of familiar things from everyday life, brought down to baby's size.
- Get Up & Go
This playgroup will promote social, emotional and most importantly, physical development with the help of Baby GymtasticsTM toys, activities and games.

Aqua Tots Ages 18-36 Months
To make your time onboard even more enjoyable, join your 18 to 36-month-old in the fun of Aqua Tots, interactive playgroup sessions developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price. Each 45-minute session offers age-appropriate activities that expose children to new experiences and teach you how to make playtime learning time as well. Plus, your little one will be all smiles and giggles as they make new discoveries, sing, sway and play with great toys they are sure to love. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children during all playgroup sessions.

Discover people and places in your neighborhood, learning about familiar places, community helpers and transportation while role-playing with Little People® friends.

Calling all pirates and princesses! We'll take you on imaginative journeys to ancient times and faraway lands, enjoying pretend play with castles, pirates, stories and activities.
- Busy Builders
Little ones build big imaginations as they create cities, farms, jungles and whatever else they can imagine with special building blocks and toys.
- Learning Fundamentals
Kids love to sing, dance, and learn new things! We'll get them moving and singing as they learn A-B-C's, 1-2-3's, phonics, shapes, colors and more, with the help of learning toys, music, games, and lots of other fun activities.
PLEASE NOTE: All Aqua Babies and Aqua Tots activities are hosted by trained Youth Staff. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes; activities are subject to change. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children during activity sessions.

Aquanauts Ages 3-5
Our Aquanauts program is specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun. Every cruise is different. But one thing never changes, your child will get to learn about local customs, do cool science experiments, and make great new friends. To participate, children must be fully potty-trained and 3 years of age as of the first day of the cruise. No pull-ups or diapers please. You can feel confident leaving your children with us because every member of our Adventure Ocean® staff holds a college degree in education, recreation, or other related field, or has qualified experience in working with children ages 3-17.
- Hours
At Sea: 9 a.m. to noon, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
In Port: Thirty minutes prior to the first shore excursion to 5 p.m. or return of last shore excursion, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

- Adventure Science
Conducted by our specially trained Adventure Scientists, this program combines fun and hands-on science experiments. Featured programs include: Wacky Water Workshop, Magnetic Mayhem, H2O Thunder Races, Gummy Candies and Bubbling Potions.
- Adventure Art by Crayola®
These activities acquaint kids with diverse cultures through art. Children are introduced to mask making, fish kites and pottery.
- Sail Into Storytime
These theme-related storytime sessions bring each story to life with activities, discussions on each story and hands-on activities for the children to participate in following each reading.
- Other Games and Theme Activities
Nutty Nicknames, Un-Birthday Party, Camp Aquanauts, Ice-Cream Party, Super Hero Afternoon, Face Painting, Pirate Night, Talent Show, Under The Sea Night and Pajama Rama Movie Night.
- Out Island Activities on CocoCaySM and Labadee®
Aquanauts can enjoy Adventure Beach activities on itineraries that call on CocoCay and Labadee. Kids can join the Adventure Ocean staff and participate in Sand Castle Building, Drip Drip Drop, Adventure Family Water Balloon Toss, Beach Relays, Parachute Games and a search for Labadectal and Cocodactal eggs.

You can feel confident leaving your children with us because every member of our Adventure Ocean® staff holds a college degree in education, recreation, or other related field, or has qualified experience in working with children ages 3-17.

Navigators: (ages 13-14)
Our Navigators program is specially designed just for tweens. It's not some structured program of classes. You can come join activities and games when you want to, or just chill in our Living Room with your friends. And your parents won't worry about leaving you there, because every member of our Adventure Ocean® staff holds a college degree in education, recreation or other related field.
- Hours
Activities are scheduled throughout the day and early evening. The Teen Center is open from 10:30 p.m.- 2:00 a.m. each evening. Navigators are welcome to come and hang out and join in activities, make new friends, and dance or just listen to music.

Our teen program isn't some structured set of classes or rules. We know you're almost an adult, and it's your vacation too. So we give you the freedom you deserve. You can join events all day, or come and go as you want. And we have two great places where you can get away from it all. The Living Room is a laid-back place you can just hang with your new friends. And Fuel is the place where the party is. Open 'til 2 a.m., you can dance, listen to music, or just hang out there.

Every year, more and more families are sailing with Royal Caribbean International. Onboard Features and Activities
With some of the most innovative ships at sea, Royal Caribbean offers plenty of ways to keep kids entertained. Kids and their parents can get together and participate in fun onboard activities like ice-skating and karaoke, talent shows and bingo tournaments. Foster friendly competition with a family climb on our famous rock wall or a round on the mini-golf course. On our newest ship, Freedom of the Seas, you can even try surfing on the FlowRider-an amazing wave simulator.

Family Destinations and Shore & Land Excursions
Royal Caribbean's private destinations, CocoCay and Labadee, have all the makings of a perfect family adventure. Both islands offer pristine beaches and spectacular scenery, but kids will be most fascinated by state-of-the-art Aqua Parks and Labadee Luc's Splash Bash. Older kids might enjoy parasailing and snorkeling as well, or get the whole gang together for organized Family Beach Activities.

New Infant Policy:
Effective immediately - infants sailing on a cruise must be at least 6 months old as of the first day of the cruise/cruisetour. However, for Transatlantic, Transpacific, Hawaii, select South American cruises/cruisetours and other selected cruises/cruisetours, the infant (as of the first day of the cruise/cruisetour) must be at least 12 months old. As of April 22, 2008, the list of cruises to which the 12 month minimum age requirement applies (in addition to all Transatlantic, Transpacific, and Hawaii cruises) is as follows:
- Mariner of the Seas - January 4, 2009, January 19, 2009, February 3, 2009
- Splendour of the Seas - March 30, 2009
- Legend of the Seas - October 23, 2009, November 4, 2009
Any cruisetours associated with these cruises are also subject to the 12 month minimum age requirement. Denial of boarding for infants who do not satisfy these minimum age requirements may also result in the denial of boarding for one or more guests sailing with that infant. No refunds or other compensation shall be due from the cruise line to anyone as a result of the denial of boarding to an underage infant or other accompanying guests. If you have a guest with an infant that does meet these requirements that has already booked a cruise, please contact us at 1-800-327-6700 for Royal Caribbean International.
Can cribs/rollaways be provided in my stateroom?
Royal Caribbean provides Pack and Play's for use onboard. Pack and Play's are similar to a playpen. Cribs are no longer provided.
Pack and Play's specifics:
For use by children unable to climb out, less than 24" tall, and less than 30 lbs. Mesh on four sides Sets up in less than one minute Strong and stable, yet lightweight Approx. dimensions 28"W x 38 7/8"L x 31-1/4"H Mattress/pad is 1" thick Sheets are provided Folds for storage and includes carrying bag with handle. Pack and Play's should be reserved in advance so that we are sure we have enough onboard.

Eat, Drink and Be Merry
For our youngest guests, we offer a kid's menu featuring all their favorites: pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, peanut butter, and mac and cheese. Kids have their own beverage programs too. The Unlimited Soda Package lets them purchase a fountain soda package so they can enjoy as many fountain sodas as they want.
On selected nights, our youth staff hosts dinners in our casual restaurants. It's a great opportunity for kids to eat with other kids and for parents to enjoy a meal alone.
