Instead, the choice of when & where you wish to enjoy our award-winning cuisine is up to you. Your options for dinner aboard Grand Princess or Golden Princess include the Italian Trattoria, the Southwestern Café, the Pizzeria, the 24-hour Horizon Court and one of three intimate dining rooms--an astonishing selection unsurpassed by other cruise lines.

With Princess' new restaurant-style seating in the dining room, being introduced aboard Grand Princess and Golden Princess and coming soon to our entire fleet, you'll enjoy even more freedom and flexibility. Now there's no need to cut your time short by the pool, so that you can get to the dining room in time for your fixed, pre-arranged seating. Just drop by the dining room whenever you're ready and we'll be happy to seat you wherever you choose. Feel like meeting new people? Want a romantic dinner for two? Princess' friendly staff will accommodate you at a table seating from two to ten.

To enjoy Princess' new Personal Choice Dining, just let your travel agent know your preference at the time of booking. If you enjoy the "traditional" Princess experience with a set time of first or second seating at dinner, this option will still be available to you. The choice is up to you.

Whether you opt for Continental Breakfast delivered to your stateroom or join us at the buffet in the Lido Cafe or enjoy a la carte in the dining room, you'll get your day off to a delightful start. Breakfast buffet in the cafe includes fresh fruits, hot and cold cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, toast, juices and coffee. The dining room serves everything from lox and bagels to pancakes, Eggs Benedict and more.

Five-course luncheons in the dining room with a different pasta every day and a variety of delightful entrees are irresistible. If you can't tear yourself away from the pool, our luscious buffet in the Lido cafe is just as appealing. Dinner Is A Gala Affair
There are always two sittings for dinner with some special theme nights dedicated to famous cuisines from around the world, including French and Italian. Relax while you dine on such delights as lobster and caviar, filet mignon and chocolate soufflé.

24-Hour Dining
24-hour food service is offered on the Sun, Sea, Dawn and Grand Princess in the Horizon Court, on the Royal Princess in the Lido Cafe, on the Crown Princess in the Cafe Cabana and on the Regal Princess in the Cafe del Sol. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day in the Lido Cafe on all ships.

Pizza Pizzazz
With full-service pizzerias on all ships except Island and Pacific Princess, you can order a tantalizing pizza fresh from the oven. You won't find more delicious, or more authentic pizza this side of Italy. Enjoy!

Alternative Dining on Grand Princess
One of the most popular features aboard the new Grand Princess is her many different dining venues. Both the "Sabatini's" Trattoria and "The Painted Desert" southwestern restaurant offer intimate settings with seating by prior reservation for your convenience and require a small service charge.

Shouldn't every vacation have an element of personal indulgence, of complete and blissful relaxation and of luxuries that you would never have time for at home? Well, every Princess vacation does, thanks to the professional beauty and health care experts that run our salons and spas, offering everything from hair styling to facials, massage, manicure, pedicure, detoxification, cellulite reduction, aromatherapy, and much more.

Princess' exercise programs are equally diverse with gymnasiums on all ships and their newer vessels boasting some of the most lavish, ocean-view gyms afloat. The latest in equipment, aerobics rooms, personal trainers, a range of classes throughout the day, jogging tracks, sports courts and even a fresh juice bar round out the fitness experience with Princess. Passengers can take part in a variety of aerobics classes with great teachers and earn coupons redeemable for Cruisercise logo merchandise available in the shipboard boutique. Activities like Ping-Pong tournaments, pool games and other events are also highlighted.

Survival Of The Fittest
"Cruisercise" is a great way to stay fit while you earn "Cruisercise Cash" for every Cruisercise activity you attend. Save your coupons and use them toward your purchase of colorful "Cruisercise" T-shirts, sun visors and other apparel offered in the shipboard boutique. Depending on your ship, take your pick of stretch and tone, walk-a-mile, aquacise, workouts in the gym and aerobics classes. Sports enthusiasts can compete for medals and prizes in addition to earning "Cruisercise Cash". Join ping pong and shuffleboard tournaments or get in the swing with golf putting and chipping. Many of our ships also offer sports courts including paddle tennis, volleyball and basketball.

Taking A Dive
Learn to snorkel and/or scuba dive with professional, fully- certified PADI instructors. Princess' "New Waves" program is available on all seven day cruises to the Caribbean. Under the guidance of the "New Waves" staff, you can get your feet wet with snorkeling and scuba demonstrations, snorkeling classes and tours and scuba tours for non-certified and certified divers. You can even get a full or partial scuba certif- cation during your cruise, if you register in advance of your cruise.

Get In Over Your Head
Come join the Cruise Director's staff and make some waves out by the pool. On most of our cruises, there are water volleyball and basketball tournaments and a host of pool games. There's something for everyone and prizes too. It's a wonderful way to meet your fellow passengers and have a boatload of fun.

An Afternoon Drive
If golf is your sport, Princess can take you to the best places around the world to tee off. On 11-day cruises between Hawaii and Tahiti, for instance, you can golf in every breathtaking Hawaiian port. The blue waters of the Caribbean are complemented by as many as nine different tropical "greens". And we also offer simulated golf at "Princess Links" on Dawn, Sun, Sea and Grand Princess; a nine-hole putting green on the Grand Princess, plus golf packages or opportunities for independent play in New Zealand, Mexico, the South Pacific and more.

Be A Sport
The type of sports-oriented activities we make available in port varies but there's always plenty of choice. We make available everything from kayaking, river rafting, bicycling and golfing to sailing, horseback riding and snorkeling.

Love Boat Access

The Love Boat Access project was initiated to raise the standards of cruise ship access to a new level while keeping in mind the inherent constraints and special considerations of a ship at sea. Princess is proud to have the highest number of wheelchair accessible staterooms in the industry. Doorways wide enough for most chairs, rooms designed with wheelchair movement in mind, and bathrooms featuring roll-in showers and hand-held detachable shower heads are among the list of special accommodations.

Additionally, special wheelchair transportation gangway mechanisms, ramps, and elevators with Braille call buttons as well as audible arrival sounds are available aboard many or all of their ships. Princess also has a supply of ADA "all in one kits" including telephone amplifiers, visual smoke detectors, door knocker sensors, text telephones and other aids for guests with hearing impairment.

Staying Well At Sea
Princess' medical facilities and the shipboard staff are perhaps the finest at sea. With a highly-trained staff of doctors and nurses and well-equipped shipboard medical centers stocked with oral and injectable medications, you can rest assured that your health is in good hands while onboard.

With at least three years post graduate medical training, shipboard doctors are trained in primary care, advanced life support, intravenous line placement and intubation, the use of laryngeal masks and minor surgery. Each ship is equipped with cardiac monitors, defibrillators and external cardiac pacemakers. They carry suction equipment, oxygen saturation monitors, nebulizers for the treatment of asthma and COPD, volumetric infusion pumps, oxygen concentrators and more.

Pharmacy medications are approved by the UK Committee on Safety of Medicines and we have made arrangements with specialty medical evacuation firms in various regions of the world for assistance when far from home.

Love Boat Kids

Princess' comprehensive Love Boat Kids program makes child's play of family travel. On Crown, Royal, Sun, Dawn, Sea, Ocean, Golden and Grand Princess, you'll find complete Youth and Teen Centers with every thing from arts and crafts to games, movies, splash pools, discos and video games. The goal of the family vacation is simple: find that elusive experience that allows both parents and children to enjoy their favorite activities as well as spend quality time together.

Sun, Dawn, Sea, Ocean, Golden and Grand Princess even offer a toddler's play area and theatre, a dolls' house, a castle, computers and ice-cream kiosk. In addition to these features, the Grand & Golden Princess offers kids their own deck space with a whale's tail slide splash pool and teens rate their own Jacuzzi and sunning area.

When 15 or more children, ages 2 to 17, are traveling on the Royal and Pacific Princess, they'll enjoy a varied schedule of supervised activities as well. Other children's programs include "Save Our Seas" in which kids participate in activities that teach them about the oceans, special shore excursions designed for kids, a pizza party scheduled one night on each cruise, children's TV programming, kid's portraits with special backdrops, cookies in the stateroom and more.

Princess Pelicans - Kids have a ball at Pelicans' Perch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Sea Princess Sailings) on Princess Cays, our private island in the Caribbean with a whole range of beach games and activities designed just for them. Princess Pelicans are entertained with non-stop activities including arts and crafts, pool games, scavenger hunts, deck parties, bridge and galley tours, afternoon ice cream, videos and cartoons. Meanwhile, the Princess Teen Club keeps teens on the go with events and games such as "bop 'till you drop disco," murder mystery games, theme parties, shipboard Olympics, karaoke & lip sync shows, pizza parties and movie fests. A special schedule out lining the next day's activities, customized for each age group, is delivered every night to the youth onboard.

Princess Teen Club - get to choose from many games such as murder mystery, theme parties, karaoke, pizza parties and movies. The Sun, Sky and Star Princess provide teens with ping pong tables, the latest video games and other game tables. The Golden, Crown & Regal Princess do not have youth or teen centers, but youth coordinators sail year-round on these ships to plan activities.

Additionally, Princess provides group babysitting services while the ship is in port between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and at night between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. in the children's centers at $4.00 per hour per child.

What's on Board

TV Programming
Getting away from it all doesn't mean being out of touch. Every stateroom on Princess' ships has its own TV set featuring our multi-channel "Princess Overseas Television" programming. We offer live satellite reception of CNN and ESPN everywhere in the world their satellite signal is available. Unique to Princess, an onboard version of Discovery/The Learning Channel offers a wide selection of cultural, travel, history, cooking, gardening and sports programming. A movie channel, exciting footage from Princess' worldwide destinations and live shipboard features are also available.

Boutiques On Board
Duty free treasures from around the world await you in our Duty-Free boutiques . . . exquisite fine jewelry, exotic cruisewear, designer fragrances, porcelain collectibles, the Love Boat signature collection and if you forgot your toothpaste, we have that too. Depending on ports visited, duty free alcohol may be sold on any day during your cruise but only available for passenger pickup on the last day while the ship is at sea.

One of the few cruise companies that operates its own boutiques, Princess offers products that meet the highest quality standards. You can feel comfortable shopping on board knowing that our Customer Service Department in our Los Angeles headquarters is available to handle inquiries after the cruise.

Hospitality Sweets
The little extras you find in the best hotels - fresh fruit, evening bed turndown, chocolates on the pillow, plush terry-cloth robes, complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are in every stateroom, not just the suites.

Art Auction Program
On the majority of our ships you will have the opportunity to view and purchase (through participation in exciting onboard auctions), some of the finest international art pieces. Further, art directors are available throughout the cruise to answer your questions about the onboard art collection.

Gymnasium
For today's fitness-oriented traveler, we offer the convenience of shipboard gymnasiums and spas. Our newest ships are fitted with the latest cardiovascular and weight-training exercise equipment, including Lifecycles, step machines, treadmills, and free weights.

Party Planning
What could be more fun than throwing a party at sea, especially when you have Princess to do all the work. We'll send out the invitations, mix the cocktails, and pour the wine or champagne. Our chef will even prepare a selection of your favorite hot or cold hors d'oeuvres. Just contact the Deputy Purser through the Purser's Desk, and they will plan all the details.

Photos preserving your Love Boat memories are available for purchase in our shipboard gallery. For a truly special souvenir have our professional photographers take a portrait on formal night. Also available for purchase is a supply of frames, albums, camera accessories, batteries, film, and disposable cameras. Quality film processing is also available using state of the art equipment.

Library
Relaxing with a good book by the pool is a favorite Princess pastime. So we've stocked our ships with an extensive library including contemporary titles in a wide range of categories. You'll find books on art, history, sports, travel, health and wellness, natural history and reference materials, including a world atlas and dictionary. Or choose from our selection of fiction and biographies. Island and Pacific Princess boast libraries with 600 to 700 intriguing books. Royal, Sky, Sea, Crown, Regal, Sun, Grand and Dawn Princess have impressive collections numbering up to 1600 books each . To check out your selection, keep an eye on your Princess Patter for the ship's convenient library hours. The library area is open for browsing 24 hours a day, and a member of the cruise staff is in attendance at certain times during which you may check out or return books.

Frequent cruisers will appreciate the fact that we update our library stock twice a year to include the latest releases and to provide books which relate to each specific itinerary.

Postal Service
Since U.S. stamps are only acceptable for use within the U.S., the Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico, the Purser's Desk has stamps for most ports you'll be visiting. Then when you want to send a "Wish you were here" postcard from your favorite port of call, you'll be ready to drop the card in the mailbox located at the Purser's Desk.

Princess Patter
The ship's daily activities and entertainment guide is your schedule of daily events, guided to shipboard services with hours of operation and complete information source. Delivered nightly to your stateroom, keep it close at hand so that you'll always know what's happening and where.

Room Service
Call for room service, ice, fruit or a wake-up call any time of the day or night. To have continental breakfast delivered to your stateroom, just fill out the breakfast card included in your stateroom portfolio (one is also placed on your pillow) and hang it out at night on your stateroom door. To take advantage of our Stateroom Menu including sandwiches, salads and beverages, just call the number listed on your telephone directory.

Stateroom Safes
A private safe is provided for your convenience in each stateroom.

Hair Dryers And Razors
All staterooms on all Princess ships are equipped with a 110-volt, 60-cycle alternating current (A.C.) with standard U.S. plug fittings for your convenience. Please ask your stateroom steward to check your appliances for suitability before use if you have any doubts. All staterooms on Sun, Dawn, Sea, Crown, Sky, Grand, Royal and Regal Princess are also equipped with an electric hair dryer.

Beauty Salon
A full range of hair care and beauty salon services is available through our shipboard Beauty Salon. Staffed by professional stylists and therapists, the Salon is open daily. It is strongly recommended that you make your appointments on embarkation day so that you may get the most convenient appointment time.

The Spa
If you've always wanted to treat yourself to a spa vacation, here's your chance. Princess has health and beauty centers fully equipped to pamper you from head to toe. We offer aromatherapy, body wraps, massage, sauna, facials and manicures for both men and women. Just make an appointment as early in the cruise as possible, as these services are strongly in demand.

Business Center
Onboard the Grand, Golden, Sea, Dawn, Sun and Ocean there are Business Centers equipped with computers available for passenger use. These computers are equipped with standard business applications as well as internet access. Passengers may access their AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo and other web based email accounts. Internet web browsing access is available from these computers for other web based information such as stock market or world news.
