Day 2:
Los Angeles. (Wed., Dec. 31) Head to Pasadena for the always colorful ROSE BOWL FAMILY FESTIVAL and watch the floats being decorated with tens of thousands of flowers. This afternoon you can take the included visit to the GETTY MUSEUM. This evening, join your traveling companions at a special Globus New Year’s Eve DINNER AND DANCE GALA, complete with hats, party favors, live music, and, of course, champagne! You’ll toast the New Year a little early tonight to allow for an early morning departure to the Rose Parade. (B,D)

Day 3:
Los Angeles. Tournament of Roses Parade. (Thu., Jan. 1) Happy New Year! Get ready for one of the world’s most popular parades—and you’ll see it live on its 120th anniversary! Globus has specially selected RESERVED GRANDSTAND SEATS at the beginning of the parade route for prime viewing. See the spectacular floral floats, marching bands from around the world, and the celebrities. (B,L)

Day 4:
Los Angeles. (Fri., Jan. 2) This morning, view the individual floats in the POST-PARADE VIEWING AREA. For many this is the highlight of the entire event. Be sure to bring your camera and plenty of film! Another special treat tonight—a special GLOBUS FAREWELL CELEBRATION DINER. (B,D)

Vancouver–Rocky Mountaineer®–Kamloops–Banff. (Fri., Dec. 19 & Sat., Dec. 20) Board your ROCKY MOUNTAINEER train for a 2-day, all-daylight, classic rail journey featuring onboard holiday festivities and live musical entertainment. Travel through the land of a million Christmas trees in Fraser Valley, surrounded by snow-covered mountains and postcard-perfect winter scenery. Arrive in Kamloops for the night. Next day, continue on the train into the mighty Canadian Rockies over Rogers Pass, through Kicking Horse Canyon and Yoho National Park’s Spiral Tunnels, and past magnificent glaciers into BANFF NATIONAL PARK. Day 7:

Albuquerque. (Fri., Oct. 3) This morning, an Albuquerque sightseeing tour includes a visit to the Old Town and the INTERNATIONAL BALLOON MUSEUM, dedicated to the art, culture, science, history, sport, and spectacle of ballooning. Also visit the INDIAN PUEBLO CULTURAL CENTER, a fascinating museum and crafts market collectively run by the 19 New Mexico pueblos. Afternoon at leisure to explore on your own. (B)

Day 3:
Albuquerque. (Sat., Oct. 4) Get ready for the world-famous Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta! Experience this morning’s pre-dawn OPENING CEREMONIES and the unforgettable MASS ASCENSION—where hundreds of hot air balloons take off and turn the sky into a virtual rainbow of colors. What began as a gathering of 13 balloons 30 years ago has since turned into the largest ballooning event in the world. The balance of the day is at leisure. (B)

Day 4:
Albuquerque. Excursion to Santa Fe. (Sun., Oct. 5) Journey north through dramatic landscapes to Santa Fe, the oldest seat of government in the United States. Step through the gates of Stampede Park and enter a world of wonder, fun, and “Wild West” excitement. Walk back in time through an authentic Indian Village, or stroll the streets of a recreated frontier town. Enjoy a wide variety of exciting talent at the many entertainment stages, then maybe head into the dazzling array of international exhibits and displays of Western art. Later, travel into the heart of the Ozark Mountains to Branson, the epicenter of America’s musical entertainment industry. Tonight, enjoy dinner and an evening performance at DICK CLARK’S AMERICAN BANDSTAND where you’ll “shake, rattle & roll” with original American Bandstand stars from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. (B,D)

Day 3:
Branson. (Mon.) A highlight of our local sightseeing TOUR is a visit to Branson’s first theater. We’ll have the opportunity to view the Presley family’s memorabilia that covers more than 40 years of entertaining visitors, tour the auditorium, and then participate in a question-and-answer visit with a member of the original cast. After dinner this evening, enjoy VIP seats to the PRESLEY’S COUNTRY JUBILEE where you’ll be entertained with music and comedy. (B,D)

Day 4:
Branson. Choose Your Experience. (Tue.) A GLOBUS PLATINUM EXCLUSIVE, today select how you wish to spend your day with an included morning or afternoon show. In the morning, choose between Les Brown and the Band of Renown or the Platters. Or, in the afternoon, choose between Roy Rogers Jr. or the Twelve Irish Tenors. During your free time today, why not visit Branson’s newest attraction, Branson Landing. This evening, enjoy ANDY WILLIAMS. You’ll be delighted as Andy sings songs from the Big Band era, Broadway, Nashville, and his greatest hits. (B,D)

Day 5:
Branson. (Wed.) After breakfast you will be seated for a morning performance of the YAKOV SMIRNOFF show. The famous Russian comedian evokes explosive laughter in a show filled with brilliant special effects, dazzling dancing, and heartfelt moments. Tonight’s dinner is on board the SHOWBOAT BRANSON BELLE. This evening’s farewell performance will be SHOJI TABUCHI. This Japanese-born entertainer came to Branson via Louisiana and is known for his untouchable talents with the violin. (B,D)

Day 6:
Branson–Kansas City. (Thu.) Depart Branson with a visit to the STEAMBOAT ARABIA MUSUEM before arriving back in Kansas City. Please schedule flights after 5 p.m. (B)

Arrive Jackson. (Thu.) Welcome to the “Wild West” town of Jackson, Wyoming. Tonight, be our guest at a WELCOME RECEPTION hosted by your Tour Director. (WR)

Day 2:
Jackson–Yellowstone National Park. (Fri.) Begin your day with an included SLEIGH RIDE in Jackson’s National Elk Refuge. Here, as many as 10,000 elk congregate each winter. On occasion, we may be lucky enough to see wolves, eagles, trumpeter swans, and coyotes as well. We then depart for a tour of GRAND TETON and YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARKS, where some of the majestic peaks ascend above 13,000 feet. At Flag Ranch, you will board a Bombardier SNOCOACH and begin the journey through Yellowstone National Park. Highlights include West Thumb Geyser Basin, Lake Yellowstone, the Continental Divide, and Shoshone Point Overlook. Your journey ends at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge for a relaxing 2-night stay. (B,D)

Day 3:
Yellowstone Sightseeing. (Sat.) Wake up this morning to the crisp air of Yellowstone in the winter. After breakfast, enjoy a guided WALKING TOUR of the Upper Geyser Basin, the greatest geothermal basin on earth. Here you will view Old Faithful, along with many other geysers in the eruptive state. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Why not participate in a snowshoe excursion or cross-country skiing? Later, relax with a warm drink by the crackling fire. (B,D)

Day 4:
Yellowstone Sightseeing. (Sun.) Travel by SNOCOACH today to Mammoth Hot Springs. We’ll make stops to the see the famous Fountain Paint Pots as well as Gibbon Falls. At the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone we’ll have our box lunches in a warming hut before proceeding to Upper Falls and thundering Lower Falls, which are nearly twice the height of Niagara. Have your cameras ready, as winter is the perfect time to spot animals such as bison, elk, moose, bighorn sheep, deer, and coyote. We overnight at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel, where you can enjoy evening talks, ice skating, and outdoor hot tubs. (B,L,D)

Day 5:
Yellowstone National Park–West Yellowstone. (Mon.) This morning, join our excursion to Lamar Valley. This magical place is known to the locals as the Serengeti of Yellowstone, the perfect place for spotting wildlife—especially the gray wolf. We journey to Bozeman for lunch, then head south to West Yellowstone, Montana. With your free time this afternoon, why not visit the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center to learn about and gain a better appreciation of the grizzly bear and gray wolf? (B)

Day 6:
West Yellowstone–Jackson. (Tue.) After breakfast, board your motorcoach for a journey through Idaho and Utah. On the western flanks of the Tetons are breathtaking views of the highest peak on the range: Grand Teton itself, which rises to an elevation of 13,777 feet above sea level. Tonight, celebrate your journey with a festive FAREWELL DINNER at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 7:
Jackson. (Wed.) After a leisurely breakfast, bid farewell to newfound friends as your vacation comes to an end with an included transfer to the airport. (B)
