At Franklyn D. Resort, as part of your all-inclusive package, we give our guests the best gift of all - a personal "Vacation Nanny." She is a qualified member of our staff, specifically assigned to only your family and always available to care for your family's every need.

Your Vacation Nanny is highly-trained and is on hand from 9:00 to 4:40 to take the worry out of your holiday. If you need her in the evenings, she is available for the low rate of $4/hour. Warm, attentive and friendly, she respects your privacy and will be there only when needed. Should parents need time alone to relax, or to go shopping, scuba diving or to participate in all the other activities, your Vacation Nanny will care for your children by taking them to the pool or beach, the playground, for a walk, or to any of the many games, crafts and activities offered every day. Vacation Nannies also are happy to bathe and dress your children, as well as make sure they're fed at mealtimes. In addition, they will make sure your fridge is fully stocked with items of your choice before your return to your suite -- which they will always keep neat and tidy.

Special occasions are also an opportunity to lean on the nannies. They are delighted to act as your 'vacation assistant' by organizing special events like family reunions, dinner parties, and birthday and anniversary celebrations.

SWIMMING-The main pool features a roped-off shallow end for toddlers and small children as well as a separate "slide" pool that's a big hit with our youngest guests. Vacation nannies will keep a close watch on your little ones so you can also relax while the kids safely have fun in one of the pools or at our kid-friendly beach.

BIG BLUE- One of the biggest hits with kids is our 100-foot water slide, affectionately known as "Big Blue". For children who can swim, zooming down the twists and turns of the slide and making a big splash in Big Blue's own pool is a rush they'll want over and over.

SPORTS- When they've tired of swimming, splashing and sliding, a variety of activities awaits them. They can enjoy soccer or snorkeling lessons, glass-bottom boat rides, kayaks, tennis, basketball, or bicycle rides.

YELLOW BIRD KIDS' CLUB- This is the hub of activity for children of different ages. Our popular kiddie's centre is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.

Our children's program is as varied and enjoyable as the junior guests themselves. Kids have their own playground, arts and crafts center and paddling pool, along with activities like shell hunts on the beach and tie-dye classes. When you are not relaxing on the beach or swimming in our pool, you can take advantage of an array of land and water sports. Both adults and children have fun learning many of our sports like windsurfing snorkeling, sailing, kayaking and tennis.

Among our most popular activities is Scuba Diving at our coral reefs. If you're already an experienced or certified Scuba diver,  Franklyn D Resort and Spa has all the gear you need. If not, you have the opportunity to become certified by trained, qualified instructors. Included in the vacation package for certified divers is one daily dive, weather permitting. You'll get the chance for an up-close view at some of the Caribbean's most colorful and exotic fish, along with native plant species that populate the quiet depths of our sea.

We also offer snorkeling at the coral reefs, along with snorkeling lessons and trips out on our own glass-bottom boat. Other water sports include kayaking, sailing and windsurfing.

Policies:

Single Supplement: US$75 per person per night. Effective December 22, 2006 to April 12, 2007. There is no single supplement from April 13 to December 20, 2007. 

Children's Policy: Children under 6 years old are free. Children from 6 to 15 years: December 22, 2006 to April 12, 2007 - US$50 and April 13 to December 20, 2007 - US$30.

Special Teens' Rate: Teens 16, 17 & 18 US$60 per night year round.

Cancellation Penalty: One night cancellation charge if cancelled within 7 days of arrival. Three night's rate if cancelled 14 days prior to arrival for March 30 to April 12, 2007. 

Minimum Stay Requirement: 3 night stay

Payment Policy: A three night deposit is required to guarantee all overseas bookings, with the balance due three weeks prior to arrival, EXCEPT for Easter when the balance is due four weeks prior to arrival.
