Camp Carnival's age-appropriate activities are sure to delight all toddlers ages 2-5. From finger painting to cartoon time, arts and crafts to puppet shows, your little ones are sure to have a blast! We even provide babysitting services in the evenings, so Mom and Dad can get in some "quiet time," too.

Toddlers do not have to be potty-trained in order to be part of Camp Carnival; parents simply need to provide the youth staff with diapers and toiletries for their child.

Children also get their very own menus, featuring all their favorite foods. Hot dogs, chicken nuggets, pizza, macaroni & cheese and spaghetti & meatballs are all available on a Carnival cruise, so even our pint-size guests can feel pampered on their "Fun Ship" family vacation.

We are always looking for ways to make our guests' cruises more enjoyable, and now we've eliminated the need to bring a stroller by providing stroller rentals fleetwide, for a nominal fee.

Children under the age of 2 are not able to participate in all the regular programs we offer to the other age groups. We have designated times where children under 2 can participate in our Fun program. The following times are listed below:

• Babysitting - From 10:00 pm - 3:00 am each evening of the cruise.
• Port Days - From port arrival until 12:00 pm or if a late arrival then for the afternoon until 5:00 pm
• Family Play Times - Sea days from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The babysitting fee is $6.00 per hour and is charged to the guest's Sail & Sign Account. Please check the Camp Carnival Capers for specific days and times.

Camp Carnival provides "Children's Only" dinner most nights. These dinners take place in the Lido Restaurant. We encourage parents to pick up their children for ALL other meals on Sea Days as lunch is not provided; however, on Port Days, we will provide lunch for children whose parents are ashore.

Camp Carnival's friendly and experienced youth staff want to enhance your child's vacation experience. This is why they've tailored activities specifically designed to entertain this age group. Additionally, parents can take advantage of evening babysitting services, because Carnival understands that every now and then Mom and Dad need some quiet time, too.

Young cruisers ages 9 through 11 will delight in Camp Carnival's fun-filled and age-appropriate activities. From "Make Your Own Sundaes" and swim time, to video games and scavenger hunts, your kids will have the opportunity to participate in fun events and make new friends from all over the world.

While most of the Camp Carnival activities for this age group are supervised, there will be times when they are divided into teams for a game or other such activities, and will not be accompanied by a member of the youth staff.

Additionally, parents can take advantage of evening babysitting services, because Carnival understands that every now and then Mom and Dad need some quiet time, too.

Camp Carnival makes sure teens have lots of social events with kids their own ages, like dances, talent contests and sports tournaments.

Carnival even has a special shore excursion program designed just for teens. Now your 12- to 14-year-olds can choose from a selection of Camp Carnival recommended tours; they can go as a group to explore many of our exciting destinations with a Camp Carnival chaperone.

If your teen loves to dance, we have great news for them. Every night aboard a Carnival cruise our 12- to 14-year-old guests will have the opportunity to "mix and mingle" at our shipboard dance club from 9:30pm to 10:45pm. After 11:00pm, teens 14 and under can join the youth staff for a variety of activities, such as a late night movie, karaoke or outdoor games.

From the very moment they step onboard, Club O2 teens are part of a cruise experience unlike anything else. Every activity and event has been specially created with 15-17 year olds in mind. From outdoor activities like basketball, volleyball, ping pong, and pool parties to high energy dance parties lasting late into the night.

During the day activities are more relaxed, where teens can come and “hang” with their friends while watching a movie, listening to the latest music or just playing video games. Karaoke jam sessions are also popular for our rising stars and star wanna be’s. Even teen only shore excursions have been set up so teens can enjoy the sites and sounds of our beautiful ports with their peers.

All activities are coordinated by a Club O2 Director, a dedicated staff member that creates the “fun” for our 15-17 year old guests.

Many of our ships feature a lounge dedicated just to the Club O2 program. These lounges feature comfy seating, video monitors, state of the art dance floor and lighting equipment, as well as an area where teens can enjoy Coca-Cola products and various other non-alcoholic specialty drinks.

Club O2 Directors are specifically hired and trained to be the catalyst of the Club O2 program. They create the spark that gets all the teens involved. Each director brings their own unique style to Club O2. Their motivation and dedication to the program ensures that they make the teen cruise experience unlike anything they have ever done before. Many of them act as hosts, entertainers, and DJ’s for the teens.

KID’S CREW AND TEEN’S CREW
How do we do it? Every exciting moment is filled with age-appropriate entertainment in mind. For kids from age 2-12, we offer everything from arts and crafts to pajama parties. Teen’s Crew, for age 13-17, has options like pool parties, a teen disco, a video arcade and much more. Now, you can enjoy a hot-stone massage, a yoga class or a cocktail by the pool while they’re having the time of their lives. But don’t think of Kid’s Crew as babysitting – there’s very little sitting involved. This program is active, energetic, educational and, most importantly, fun. Whether your kids are at our elaborate children’s facilities, taking a dip in one of our pools, or doing any other activity, they will be under the constant supervision of our carefully chosen staff of youth counselors from leading universities and organizations. Each team counselor attends a special training course on safety, communication skills and confidence-building. We do not offer individual baby sitting.
NO WORRIES
It’s easy for you to relax when you know your kids are safe and happy. In fact, safety is of paramount importance to our staff. Each child’s name, stateroom number, allergies, medications and lifeboat station numbers are written on the back of their Kid’s Crew ID bracelets. Teens are free to come and go as they please, and children 12 years and younger are not allowed to leave the program unless picked up by a parent. And when the day is done, you’ll find our family suites and connecting and adjacent staterooms are perfect for family togetherness and privacy.

Youth and Teens
Junior cruisers ages 3 to 17 can enjoy a boatload of exciting onboard activities. Our dedicated youth centers are staffed by trained counselors, who are ready to ensure our young sailors stay happy all day long.

On all Vessels except Royal, Tahitian and Pacific Princess you'll find completely equipped Youth Centers. There's everything from arts and crafts corners, games tables, movies, and splash pool area.

Princess operates youth programs on Royal, Tahitian or Pacific Princess, when 20 or more children ages 3 to 17, are traveling on a given voyage. Children under the age of 3 are allowed to visit the Youth Center, if accompanied and supervised by a parent at all times.

The Sun, Dawn, Grand, Golden, Coral, Island, Diamond and Star Princess even offer a toddlers' play area.

Cruising with Princess is a complete escape for all ages. There's everything from arts and crafts corners, game tables, movies, and splash pools (on select ships) to Teen Centers with fooseball tables, juke boxes, and all the latest video games. Teens have their own "Remix" lounges that are designed to give them the time of their lives. In addition, youth on Grand and Golden Princess will also enjoy their own deck space with a whale's tail splash pool, and teens have a separate hot tub and deck area just for them.

All Youth and Teen Centers are fully supervised by our qualified & friendly staff of Youth Activities Coordinators.

Children are welcome on all Princess ships, but facilities vary. Pacific and Tahitian Princess do not have dedicated youth and teen centers (programs are available only when 20 or more children are sailing). However, when 20 or more children ages 3 to 17 are traveling on these ships, they will enjoy a varied schedule of supervised activities organized by a Youth Activities Coordinator

Port Day Activities
Youth and Teen Centers onboard Grand, Golden, Star, Sea, Ocean, Dawn, Sun, Coral, Island, Diamond and Regal Princess offer complimentary scheduled activities to youth passengers ages 3 to 17 from 8AM to 5PM while in port. A special supervised complimentary lunch service is also available with parental consent.

Port day activities are available onboard Royal, Tahitian and Pacific Princess when 20 or more children ages 3 to 17 are sailing.

Eat, Drink and Be Merry
For our youngest guests, we offer a kid's menu featuring all their favorites: pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, peanut butter, and mac and cheese. Kids have their own beverage programs too. The Unlimited Soda Package lets them purchase a fountain soda/juice package so they can enjoy as many fountain sodas and juices as they want.

On selected nights, our youth staff hosts dinners in our casual restaurants. It's a great opportunity for kids to eat with other kids and for parents to enjoy a meal alone.

Time for Mom and Dad
As a vacation for the whole family, Royal Caribbean also provides quiet time for Mom and Dad. That can be during the day, while the kids are at their own Adventure Ocean programs, or at night, while the kids are with babysitters. Babysitting is offered both in a group setting, and individually in your stateroom. Upon boarding, please check with the Guest Relations desk to make sure that personnel is available since this is not a guaranteed service.

Fisher Price Playgroups
Join your 6- to 36-month-old in the fun of Fisher-Price Aqua Babies and Aqua Tots, interactive playgroup sessions developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price. Each 45-minute session offers age-appropriate activities that expose children to new experiences while seamlessly combining playtime with learning time. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children during all playgroup sessions.

To make your time onboard even more enjoyable, join your 6 to 18-month-old in the fun of Aqua Babies, interactive playgroup sessions developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price. Each 45-minute session offers age-appropriate activities that expose children to new experiences and teach you how to make playtime learning time as well. Plus, your little one will be all smiles and giggles as they make new discoveries, sing, sway and play with great toys they are sure to love. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children during all playgroup sessions.

 Adventure Ocean
Adventure Ocean is a complimentary program of fun and educational activities open to all guests ages 3-17. Children are separated by age: 3 to 5; 6 to 8; 9 to 11; 12 to 14; and 15 to 17. Your child will get to learn about local customs, do cool science experiments, and make great new friends. The 12-14 and 15-17 Adventure Ocean groups allow teens the freedom to come and go as they please for sports, themed parties, movie nights and more. Teens can also meet and relax in the laid-back Living Room lounge, or dance late into the night at Fuel, our teen-only nightclub.

To participate in Adventure Ocean, children must be three years of age and potty-trained (no pull-ups or diapers). You can feel confident leaving your children with us because every member of our Adventure Ocean staff holds a college degree in education, recreation, or other related field, or has qualified-equivalent experience working with children ages 3-17. All are certified in CPR.

Aqua Tots (18-36 months)
To make your time onboard even more enjoyable, join your 18 to 36-month-old in the fun of Aqua Tots, interactive playgroup sessions developed by early childhood experts at Fisher-Price. Each 45-minute session offers age-appropriate activities that expose children to new experiences and teach you how to make playtime learning time as well. Plus, your little one will be all smiles and giggles as they make new discoveries, sing, sway and play with great toys they are sure to love. A parent or caregiver MUST accompany children during all playgroup sessions.

Aquanauts (ages 3-5)
Our Aquanauts program is specially designed to blend educational activities with just plain fun. Every cruise is different. To participate, children must be fully potty-trained and 3 years of age as of the first day of the cruise.
