What does my cruise fare
include? The price of your cruise includes ship
accommodations, ocean transportation, meals, some beverages most
entertainment aboard the vessel. All prices are per-person, based
on double occupancy of the stateroom, and are quoted in US
dollars.
The cruise price does not include
air transportation, transfers or items of a personal nature, such
as shore excursions, some beverages, photographs, gratuities,
medical services, etc. In addition, Celebrity Cruises separately
assesses airport facility charges and certain departure taxes and
other taxes/fees that are implemented by various governments and
quasi-governmental agencies. Such assessment is subject to change
without notice at any time whether or not you have a confirmed
booking under deposit, or if you have made final payment.
What documents will I need to
travel? Passports are recommended for all US citizens for all
travel outside of the United States. All guests are required to
submit acceptable proof of identity. Documents that will be
accepted as proof of identity are: a passport; a federal, state,
or a local government-issued picture ID card; an original or
certified copy of your birth certificate with one of the following
photo ID cards: state driver's license; US company employee ID
card; or an ID card issued by a private identification card
service. A voter's registration card is no longer acceptable on
its own, but may be used as support.
Non-US citizens residing in the
United States must show valid Alien Registration (green) cards
prior to boarding the ship. Please check with a travel agent,
government agencies, embassies or consulates to determine
documentary requirements.
You are responsible for bringing
all travel documents such as passports, visas, proof of
citizenship, etc., required for boarding and reentry into the US.
No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring the
required documentation. For your protection, Royal Caribbean
recommends that your passport expiration date not occur within six
(6) months of the voyage termination date.
What forms of ID are required
for minors? Passports are recommended for all US citizens for
all travel outside of the United States. All guests are required
to submit acceptable proof of identity. Children fifteen (15)
years of age and younger are required one of the following forms
of identification: passport; original or certified copy of their
birth certificate; any photo ID.
You are responsible for bringing

How do I pay for onboard
purchases? All Celebrity ships operate on a cashless system.
Guests can validate their Celebrity Signature Account with their
Visa, MasterCard, Novus, or American Express card, or sign for
payment by cash or traveler's check. Guests can then sign all
on-board services and purchases to their account. At the end of
the cruise, guests will receive a completely itemized statement.
Celebrity does not accept personal checks, and only U.S. currency
is accepted aboard the ships.
The shops, lounges, shore
excursions, and AquaSpa operate on a cashless system, therefore
guests must use the Celebrity Signature Account card when
purchasing beverages and services throughout the ship. The card
will be validated upon embarkation by using a Visa, MasterCard, or
American Express credit card. Accounts can also be settled by cash
or travelers checks.
How much do I pay in gratuities?
It is customary to offer gratuities to staff members you feel
have given you exceptional service and personal attention.
Celebrity suggests the following guidelines:
Waiter: $3.50 p/day
Busboy: $2.00 p/day Restaurant Manager:
.75 p/day
Butler (suites only): $3.50 p/day
Steward/ess: $3.50 p/day
Chief Housekeeper: .50 p/day
For children less than 12 years
old, as third or fourth person in the stateroom, half the above
amounts are recommended.
How much money should I bring? The
price of the cruise includes ship accommodations, meals, some
beverages and most entertainment. The amount of money needed for
items of a personal nature, such as shore excursions, alcoholic
beverages, soft drinks, photos, gratuities, etc. will be at your
discretion.
How early do I need to arrive? Boarding
begins at 2:00 P.M.. Please check with your travel agent to
confirm boarding and departure times.
What if I will be arriving late?
Failure to check in at least 60 minutes in advance will
constitute a no-show, the booking will be canceled and
cancellation penalties will be applied.
Can Passage be refused?
Passage may be refused to any guest, and any guest's cruise may be
terminated at any time, at the risk and expense of the departing
guest, where, in the opinion of the ship's Captain or physician, a
guest is unfit for travel or a risk or danger to himself or
herself or a disturbance or danger to others. Such guest may be
left at any port or place at which the ship calls without any
liability to Royal Caribbean International or Celebrity Cruises.
Royal Caribbean International or Celebrity Cruises shall not be
required to refund any amount paid by any guest who must leave the
cruise prematurely for any of the reasons set forth above or
otherwise, nor shall Royal Caribbean International or Celebrity
Cruises be responsible for lodging, meals, return transportation
or other expenses incurred by the guest.
Do you have ATM's onboard? An
ATM is available on board all Celebrity ships. Guests are able to
obtain cash by using their MasterCard, VISA or American Express
card, or they can use a bank card belonging to such as
Cirrus-Plus, Honors, Shazam, Alert, Yankee 24, Pulse, ATH, NYCE,
MAC, Magicline, Star System, Oath and Tyme. There is a $5 service
fee.
Is there licensed medical staff
onboard? Onboard Celebrity has two fully qualified doctors,
and three nurses
What do I need to do on the last
night of the cruise? The last night of the cruise you need to
pack all of your bags except, the clothes that you will be wearing
the following day and your toiletries. Please make sure that your
bags are outside of the stateroom by 10:00 P.M. Your cooperation
is greatly appreciated.
Is the water onboard the ship
safe to drink? Yes, All potable water is either distilled from
seawater or loaded onboard while the ship is in port. The company
adheres to Vessel Sanitation System standards published by the US
Public Health Service (USPHS). USPHS conducts inspections of the
ship both during construction and during the year to ensure
compliance.

discussed potable water disinfectant devices and equipment.
Potable water distribution systems are treated by means of an
approved chlorination or bromination system. Records of the ship's
automatic chlorine or bromine analyzer are maintained and water
samples are tested on a regular basis.
What are the onboard dress codes?
You will need three types of clothing on your Celebrity
cruise: casual shipboard attire or day wear, conservative port
wear and eveningwear. Daywear includes slacks or pants, blouses or
shirts, knit tops or polo shirts. Bring a pair of sneakers or
rubber-soled shoes for deck sports and a swimsuit cover-up for
cool areas on the ship.
Port wear for women includes a
casual dress, skirt and blouse, or pants outfit; for men, casual
pants or walking shorts, and polo-type shirts. Comfortable walking
shoes are a must. Also, remember to bring extra bathing suits, as
well as sun block, sun visors and other types of sun protection.

I'm sailing during hurricane
season, if a storm threatens, what will happen to my cruise? We
will not operate any vessel in the vicinity of a tropical system
and we will monitor the progress of these storms closely. If there
is a potential threat to any of our guests or ships, the itinerary
of the vessel will be altered to avoid any interaction with the
storm or any affected areas. For specific information on your
sailing, please check with your travel agent or contact our
Reservations Department.
