Day 2: City streets & views from the “Top of the Rock”
The images of midtown are how the rest of the world views Manhattan. Soaring skyscrapers like the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building tower over concrete canyons pulsing with activity and cultural diversity. Drive past some of the city’s iconic landmarks on a private sightseeing coach with a local expert who shares stories and anecdotes about the places you’ll see: Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, the Upper West Side and the Hudson River. Day 3: A look at natural history & star-studded shows
Covering four city blocks, the American Museum of Natural History is a must-do for kids and adults alike; explore it on a decent-led tour today. Its dinosaur exhibit is a crowd-pleaser and the “Journey to the Stars” presentation at the Hayden Planetarium documents the life and death of stars in a fascinating narrated film that you will see today. Real live professionals star in an exclusive afternoon theatre workshop that gives you a glimpse into the life of New Yorkers who are Broadway bound – then Broadway aspirations turn into reality tonight when you attend a performance of "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark."

Day 4: The many faces and stories of New York
The spotlight shines on the history of Lower Manhattan today with a poignant visit to Winter Garden at the World Trade Center Site, immortalized as “Ground Zero” after the attacks of September 11, 2001. Hear stories of that fateful day from one of New York’s finest and bravest and go inside nearby St. Paul’s Chapel where firemen, policemen and volunteers gathered for rest, food and comfort during the rescue efforts. A melting pot of cultures can be found in ethnic neighborhoods throughout the Big Apple; take a fun walking tour in Chinatown and Little Italy, stopping to sample a taste of local life – and bubble tea – along the way. Day 5: Places where dreams and fortunes were made
Take a ferry to Ellis Island for a chance to explore the immigration depot that processed the nearly 17 million people who came here in search of the American dream from 1892 to 1954; their stories are chronicled in interactive exhibits that include an electronic database to trace ancestors and a wall that lists names of immigrants who passed through the island’s gates.
