Day 1: Arrive London
A transfer is included from Heathrow Airport to Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill, close to Hyde Park and Oxford Street in the West End. Join us for our welcome dinner tonight.

Day 2: Windsor Castle / Westminster Abbey
Journey into the countryside this morning for a visit to Windsor Castle, home to British royalty for more than 900 years; see St. George’s Chapel, Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, and, schedule permitting, the State Apartments. Return to London for a guided tour of Westminster Abbey, burial place of Britain’s monarchs since the 11th century. Enjoy an à la carte dinner tonight at Gordon Ramsay’s maze Grill.

Day 3: Tower of London & West End Theatre
Discover life in London, past and present today. Tour the infamous Tower of London (Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress) and view the world’s best-known collection of Crown Jewels. Get a new perspective of the city from atop the London Eye, soaring 450 feet above the River Thames aboard a private capsule. Then join us on a visit to London’s West End for a pre-show dinner and a lively theatre performance.

Day 4: British Museum and Afternoon Tea
Showcasing one of the most comprehensive collections of art and antiquities in the world, including the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon Sculptures and the Black Obelisk, it is easy to get overwhelmed in the British Museum. Join our local guide for an expert introduction to this amazing museum and its priceless treasures, then ponder your next visit over an elegant Afternoon Tea at Fortnum & Mason; in keeping with English tradition, shorts are not permitted here! The rest of the day is free to explore city sights as you wish. The choices are endless.

Day 5: Eurostar Train to Paris
It’s off to France today! Board the high-speed Eurostar for a journey under the English Channel and arrive in the city of Paris in just a few hours. Get an overview of its landmark attractions en route to your hotel. Tonight, dine à la carte at the Brasserie Fauchon at place de la Madeleine, frequented by the “foodies” who know where to find a taste of great French fare.

Day 6: Art in Versailles & Montmartre
Virtually glittering in gold, 17th-century Château de Versailles was built during the reign of Louis XIV, the “Sun King,” and still impresses all who visit it. Head outside of the city for a tour of the palace’s opulent State Apartments, then return to Paris for a walking tour of hilltop Montmartre, where street artists sketch vignettes of life – and people – passing by them. The remainder of the day is free to discover Paris as you wish. Your hotel is ideally located close to landmark sights.

Day 7: Musée du Louvre & A Famous Brasserie
A high point of your stay in Paris is today’s visit to the Musée du Louvre. View its phenomenal collections of prints, antiquities, paintings, sculpture, and drawings, including the Mona Lisa, on a guided tour. Join us tonight for a farewell dinner at Fouquet’s on the Champs-Élysées as we bid a fond adieu to Paris.

Day 8: Journey Home
