Day 2: Epicurean Portland and a Winery Visit
Get a taste of Portland this morning before driving to Mount Hood and the Timberline Lodge, a classic ski resort with breathtaking views. Wind through Oregon’s famed wine country, with a stop at Mount Hood Winery. The drive back to Portland features landscapes of awesome beauty, including magnificent Multnomah Falls. Return to your hotel, where the evening is free.

Day 3: A Different Take on Seattle
Your epicurean odyssey takes you to Seattle and a burgeoning food culture that rivals anyplace in America. Lunch at Salty’s at Alki Beach, a landmark seafood restaurant. Our excursions take you on a drive through the Scandinavian district of Ballard, and to Capitol Hill, with its impressive historic houses.

Day 4: Pike Place Market and a restaurant to remember
Immerse yourself in the aromas, tastes and colors of Pike Place Market, during walking tours tempting with food tastings and interpretations. After a free afternoon, join us for a special dinner at Sky City Restaurant amidst spectacular views.

Day 5: Olympic Peninsula / Victoria
Travel by ferry to Port Angeles and continue on to picturesque Victoria, British Columbia, aboard another ferry. Discover the sensory pleasures of this charming city as you wish.

Day 6: The Butchart Gardens / Vancouver
Tour Sea Cider Farm and Ciderhouse in Oak Bay, sampling ciders and food pairings along the way. Drive to The Butchart Gardens to view its floral landscapes and have Afternoon Tea at the family residence. A scenic floatplane will fly you to Coal Harbor, Vancouver, this afternoon; your hotel is ideally set right on the city’s waterfront.

Day 7: Treetop Adventure / Public Market
A breathtaking “treetop adventure” this morning offers you a squirrel’s-eye view of the coastal rainforest. Tour Stanley Park, and explore the Gastown District on your own for lunch. A chef-guided tour of Granville Island Public Market culminates with our farewell dinner of gourmand delights and cooking demonstrations at “Edible at the Market.”
