Vacation Overview
This vacation consists almost entirely of 2-night stays in a variety of famous cities and picturesque towns. In Amsterdam, enjoy guided sightseeing and a canal cruise. Cruise the Rhine River and marvel at the terraced vineyards and castle-crested cliffs. Stop in Cologne, Heidelberg, medieval Rothenburg, and Munich. Stay two nights in the Passion Play village Oberammergau and visit nearby King Ludwig’s Castle in Neuschwanstein. Drive through the Alps via Innsbruck to Venice, where guided sightseeing includes St. Mark’s Square and Doges’ Palace with its Bridge of Sighs. From Venice, drive to Lake Maggiore and stop in Stresa, with the possibility to visit enchanting Isola Bella. Then, enter Switzerland and stay overnight in car-free Zermatt at the foot of the Matterhorn. In the morning, an optional ride on Europe’s highest rack-railway to the Gornergrat is available. Next is French-speaking Montreux of festival fame for an overnight stay, before boarding the high-speed TGV train from Lausanne to Paris, where guided sightseeing features a visit to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. A full day at leisure offers the possibility to visit the Palace of Versailles and the Louvre Museum. Finally, take the Eurostar train to London, where you’ll enjoy guided sightseeing and a visit to St. Paul’s Cathedral and the Changing of the Guard (if held).

Globus Year Round Discounts
Young Traveler Discounts

With Globus, travel is definitely a family affair. Young travelers ages 8-17 receive a 10% discount on the land-only portion of their Globus vacation.
Discount for Repeat Travelers

Journeys Club members can save 5% on any 2012 Globus vacation. This is on top of other great member benefits, including exclusive deal alerts throughout the year, unique travel accessories, and special partner discounts and benefits.
Second Tour Discount

It pays to travel more often! Book two Globus vacations traveling in the same year and receive 5% off the land portion of your second tour. And if you take three tours, you save 5% on each of your next two.
Book Early & Save

With Globus, planning ahead pays off. Book your 2012 Globus vacation and pay in full 9 months or more prior to your departure and save 10% off the land-only portion of your tour.
Triple Room Reduction

You can also save when three people travel together and share accommodations. Refer to the itinerary pages for the specific reduction per tour.
Big Savings for Small Groups

Traveling with family and friends has always been rewarding, and now the rewards can really pile up. Small groups of 5, 6, or 7 can save 5% per person off the land-only portion of Globus vacations.
And don't forget: in groups of 8 to 15, one person travels at half-price; in a group of 16+, one person travels free. So, bring others along and multiply the fun—and the savings!
Avoid the Single Room Supplement

We do not take reservations on a “share” basis because we have found that strangers rarely enjoy sharing a room for the duration of their vacation. Avoid the single room supplement by traveling with a friend. It’s less expensive and much more fun!
