Day 2: Lago Maggiore, Italy - Tour Begins

Day 3: Lago Maggiore - Como - Stresa - Lago Maggiore
After a short lesson on the local language, enjoy time in the beautiful resort town of Como, charming with its beautiful villas, colorful gardens and spectacular views. Return to Lake Maggiore to soak up the lakeside atmosphere of this delightful town. Visit one of Stresa’s specialty wine shops to enjoy a fun wine tasting while learning about Italy’s famous products such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar and fine wines.

Day 4: Lago Maggiore - Board Cruise Ship
Depart for Venice this morning. Your exciting 7-night Eastern Mediterranean cruise begins today on the NCL Jade. This lovely ship offers award-winning restaurants, a relaxing spa, grand casino, and an energetic nightlife. While on board, breakfast, lunch and dinner are included daily. Early this evening you will set sail for Dubrovnik, Croatia.

Day 5: Dubrovnik, Croatia
This afternoon your ship docks in Dubrovnik, offering you the opportunity to explore this ancient city known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic." Set on a peninsula, Dubrovnik is surrounded by a 1,000-year-old protective wall. This afternoon, your ship sets sail for enchanting Athens.

Day 6: At Sea
Today is yours to enjoy all that the NCL Jade has to offer. Perhaps you’ll visit the onboard casino, take in a show or simply relax by the pool and soak in the Mediterranean scenery. The choice is yours.

Day 7: Athens, Greece
This morning your ship docks in Athens, the Greek capital. This legendary city is home to the Parthenon, Theater of Dionysos at the Acropolis, the ruins of the Temple of Zeus, the Royal Palace, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and the Olympic Stadium.

Day 8: Ephesus (Izmir), Turkey
Awe-inspiring ruins await when you dock at Ephesus, an important city of the ancient world. Once the Roman capital of Asia, both St. John and St. Paul came here to preach. You may wish to walk down the marble avenue and see the Library of Celsus, the great theatre, the baths and temples, including the Temple of Hadrian. Also marvel at St. John’s Basilica, a magnificent church built on what is believed to be the saint’s burial site.

Day 9: At Sea
Enjoy another day at sea. Cast your eyes toward the horizon and reflect on your amazing journey. Take some time to once again enjoy all of the amenities available aboard your ship.

Day 10: Split, Croatia
Today your ship docks in the ancient city of Split. Take this opportunity to discover one of the most fascinating spots on the Dalmatian Coast. The second largest city in Croatia, Split blends beautiful scenery with a vibrant culture that stretches back to antiquity. You will have the opportunity to visit the Diocletian Palace and the many ruins that this historical city has to offer.

Day 11: Venice, Italy - Disembark Cruise Ship - Veneto
Disembark your cruise ship this morning in the port of Venice. Visit Venice's St. Mark’s Square, a bustling hub of quintessentially Italian activity and events. A local expert provides a walking tour featuring the Clock Tower, St. Mark's Basilica, the Grand Canal, and the famous Bridge of Sighs. Enjoy a free afternoon in Venice before arriving at your hotel.

Day 12: Veneto - Lake Garda - Milan/Malpensa
Depart the Veneto region this morning and head towards Lake Garda. Stop in Sirmione, once described as "the gem of all the peninsulas." Stroll through its marvelous medieval center and admire the beautiful villas, historic churches, lush gardens, and magnificent castle. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner celebrating the end of a fun-filled, memorable trip.
