Your Tour Itinerary Includes

Day 1: Your London tour begins with a dinner on the Thames
A transfer is included from Heathrow Airport to Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill. Upon arrival in London tour the city briefly to get acquainted with landmark sites such as Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Your luxury 5-star hotel for the next four nights is ideally situated in the center of London, close to Hyde Park and Oxford Street in the West End. Enjoy a special Tauck touch tonight on the banks of the Thames, where we welcome you with a cocktail reception and dinner aboard a riverboat moored on this storied river.

Day 2: From Windsor Castle to Westminster Abbey
Travel from London through the countryside to Windsor Castle, home of the British royal family for over 900 years. See St. George's Chapel, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England; Queen Mary's Dolls' House, an exquisite miniature palace; and the Baroque State Apartments (if available, schedule permitting). Upon your return, take a guided London tour that includes the nearly 1,000-year-old Westminster Abbey, where Britain's monarchs and other great personages have been lain to rest since the 11th century; view the extraordinary medieval architecture and art collection. You can pursue your own interests in London for the remainder of the day.

Day 3: Tower of London, the London Eye & the theatre
The many treasures and rich history of the Tower of London – including the British Crown Jewels – await you this morning, followed by a completely different view of the city when you soar 450 feet above it on the world’s highest observation wheel, the London Eye. This evening, enjoy a pre-show dinner prior to a performance of the musical Jersey Boys in London's celebrated West End theatre district.

Day 4: Antiquities at the British Museum... and afternoon tea
Take a guided tour of the British Museum, the country's largest museum; it contains the Rosetta Stone, mummies, and sculptures from the Parthenon, as well as vast collections of Egyptian, Greek, and Roman antiquities. Indulge in one of England's great pleasures – traditional afternoon tea – at the legendary department store Fortnum & Mason before spending a free afternoon pursuing what interests you most in London, from its famed gardens and unique neighborhoods to its legendary museums and historic sites.

Day 5: Ride first-class aboard the Eurostar to Paris
Today you'll cross under the English Channel, traveling first class aboard the high-speed Eurostar train through the "Chunnel" to Paris in just a few hours. Upon your arrival in Paris, you'll see some of the French capital's landmark attractions on a city sightseeing tour, then enjoy dinner on the 56th floor of the Montparnasse Tower... as the evening lights of Paris begin twinkling below you!

Day 6: Château de Versailles & Montmartre
Take in King Louis XIV’s extravagant 17th-century palace, Château de Versailles; walk through the ornate State Apartments decorated with gold and marble, and exquisite formal gardens. Meet the granddaughter of Gaston Leroux, author of The Phantom of the Opera, over lunch at a Parisian restaurant. Explore the winding streets of Montmartre – made famous by artists, poets, and the Moulin Rouge cabaret – prior to an evening spent just as you please in Paris.

Day 7: Mona Lisa at Musée du Louvre – and a Seine dinner cruise
Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa greets you with a shy smile at the Musée du Louvre, showcasing some of the world's most famous masterpieces; French Impressionist paintings are among the most popular of the vast collections you may see on your guided tour.
