Day 1 - DEPART USA

Overnight flight.

Day 2 - ATHENS AT LEISURE

You are met at the airport and transferred to your tour hotel to settle in. Later, enjoy a Welcome Drink.

Day 3 - ATHENS SIGHTSEEING

Your sightseeing tour this morning includes a visit to the Acropolis to admire the Parthenon. Then see the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch. (BB)

Day 4 - ATHENS - OLYMPIA

Cross the Corinth canal and continue to Mycenae. Walk through the Lion Gate, see the 'Cyclopean' stones and visit the Beehive Tombs. Continue to Olympia.

Day 5 - OLYMPIA - DELPHI

Tour the ancient sites of Olympia, seeing the Olympic Stadium and Gymnasium. Cross to the mainland and continue to Delphi. Ascend the Sacred Way, past the Treasury of the Athenians to the Temple of Apollo.

Day 6 - DELPHI - KALAMBAKA

See the memorial to Leonidas at Thermopylae before driving to Kalambaka.

Day 7 - KALAMBAKA - ATHENS

Visit one of the monasteries of Meteora, perched on top of pinnacles of rock and enjoy the mountain views. A scenic drive along the coast brings you back to Athens.

Day 8 - CRUISING - MYKONOS

Board your cruise ship in time for lunch and set sail for the lovely island of Mykonos. Spend the night exploring the welcoming shops, narrow lanes, and outdoor tavernas. (BB,L,D,S)

Day 9 - CRUISING - KUSADASI - PATMOS

Call in at Kusadasi, to explore the bazaar or perhaps visit the world famous ruins of ancient Ephesus. Cruise on to the island of Patmos, where St. John wrote the book of Revelation. Tonight enjoy a Greek Evening and Dinner with entertainment. (BB,L,HD,S)

Day 10 - CRUISING - RHODES

Spend a full day on Rhodes, former headquarters of the Knights of St. John. Explore the Old City and the golden beaches. Meet the Captain at dinner tonight. (BB,L,D,S)

Day 11 - CRUISING - HERAKLION - SANTORINI

Sail to Heraklion, site of the ruins of King Minos' Palace and lair of the legendary Minotaur. Later, anchor beneath the cliffs of Santorini, an island famous for its sunsets, cuboid white houses and domed churches. (BB,L,D,S)

Day 12 - ATHENS AT LEISURE

Disembark after breakfast and transfer to your hotel. Then you are at leisure.

Day 13 - RETURN TO USA

Transfer to Athens airport where your tour comes to an end. (BB)
