Day 1 - DEPART USA

Overnight flight.

Day 2 - ATHENS AT LEISURE

You are met at the airport and transferred to your tour hotel to settle in. Later, enjoy a Welcome Drink.

Day 3 - ATHENS SIGHTSEEING

Your sightseeing tour this morning includes a visit to the Acropolis to admire the Parthenon. Then see the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch.(BB)

Day 4 - ATHENS - OLYMPIA

Cross the Corinth canal and continue to Mycenae. Walk through the Lion Gate, see the 'Cyclopean' stones and visit the Beehive Tombs. Stay tonight in Olympia.

Day 5 - OLYMPIA - DELPHI

Tour the ancient sites of Olympia, seeing the Olympic Stadium and Gymnasium. Cross back to the mainland and continue to Delphi. Ascend the Sacred Way, past the Treasury of the Athenians to the Temple of Apollo.

Day 6 - DELPHI - KALAMBAKA

Drive to Thermopylae to see the memorial to Leonidas and his brave Spartans. Continue to Kalambaka.

Day 7 - KALAMBAKA - ATHENS

Visit one of the monasteries of Meteora, perched on top of pinnacles of rock and enjoy the mountain views. A scenic drive along the coast brings you back to Athens.

Day 8 - CRUISING - MYKONOS

Board your cruise ship and set sail for the lovely island of Mykonos with its dazzling sugarcube houses and white-washed windmills. (BB,L,D,S)

Day 9 - CRUISING - KUSADASI & PATMOS

Dock at the Turkish port of Kusadasi to visit the bazaar or perhaps take the option to visit ancient Ephesus. Sail to the island of Patmos where St John wrote the book of Revelation. Tonight enjoy a Greek Evening and Dinner with entertainment.(BB,L,HD,S)

Day 10 - CRUISING - HERAKLION & SANTORINI

Sail to Heraklion on the island of Crete, the site of the ruins of Knossos Palace. Later continue to the sheer cliffs of Santorini. Experience the island's capital of Thira, with its cliff top restaurants, breathtaking views and amazing sunsets. (BB,L,D,S)

Day 11 - ATHENS

Disembark from your cruise and transfer to your hotel where you are at leisure. Perhaps take and optional excursion to Cape Sounion?

Day 12 - RETURN TO USA

Transfer to Athens airport where your tour comes to an end. (BB)
