Meet up with your Contiki crew before being welcomed to America's friendly heartland. Our first stop is Milwaukee, Wisconsin, home to the nation's largest beer brewers where we'll make a stop with free time for those interested in a brewery tour. Next, it’s on to Madison, a cosmopolitan university town.

As we cross through America’s heartland catch the pulse of the Midwest with a drive through Minnesota's beautiful farmlands before arriving in South Dakota, home to the nation's largest buffalo herds. We make our home tonight in Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls to Mt. Rushmore (Breakfast, Dinner Days)
Journey through the totally unique, lunar like landscape of Badlands National park and feel like you've landed on the moon. Take in this fascinating landscape with its colorful buttes, pinnacles, and spires carved out of the Great Plains. We make our home at the gateway to Mt. Rushmore tonight.

It took fourteen years to carve the faces of four American presidents into the cliffs of South Dakota's Black Hills. See history in the making and the world's largest mountain carving at our next stop, the Crazy Horse Memorial, a shrine to the heroic Great Sioux warrior.

Put on your cowboy hats as we head to Cody, Wyoming, named after western legend, Buffalo Bill Cody. On the way, we'll check out Devil's Tower National Monument, made famous by the movie, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." Whoop it up tonight at the optional rodeo (seasonal).

Kick back in this cowboy town or hit the rapids on an optional whitewater rafting trip before you boot scoot to Yellowstone, the world's first national park.

Today, explore the crown jewel of America’s parks and watch the country’s most famous geyser, Old Faithful, blow its stack. We've got the entire day to explore Yellowstone's fantastic waterfalls, mud pots, hot springs, and abundant wildlife.

Yellowstone to Salt Lake City (Breakfast Days)
The scenery is spectacular today as we head south by the Teton Range with its stunning mountain landscape. We stop in quaint Jackson Hole, Wyoming for lunch before we cross the border into Utah and arrive in its capital, Salt Lake City, which was home to the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Check out the impressive golden spires that tower over Temple Square.

Salt Lake City to Kanab via Bryce Canyon National Park (Breakfast, Dinner Days)
Behold beautiful Utah today. Before leaving Salt Lake City you'll have an opportunity to fly over gorgeous Park City in a hot air balloon. Then we are off to Bryce Canyon National Park, where the bizarre shaped canyons and spires called "hoodoos" explode with dazzling colors. Tonight, we make our home in the town of Kanab.

We'll take a day trip to one of the seven natural wonders of the world - Grand Canyon. The remote and breathtaking North Rim is less visited, which translates into peace and tranquility - a perfect way to experience this national treasure. Before we depart for the bright lights of Las Vegas we'll experience the soaring cliffs, sculptured canyons, and dramatic landscapes of Zion National Park. After seeing the one of a kind light show at Freemont Street, find out why they call Vegas Sin City and hit up some flashy hot spots.

Terms and Conditions:

1.The referral program is valid for new trips booked as of May 1, 2009.

2.You can refer as many passengers as you’d like! You must provide valid names and e-mail addresses (e.g. you may not enter your own e-mail address or repeat the same address more than once). We will issue up to 10 $100 gift cards per Referrer per calendar year. Referees must be new passengers. Not combinable with Past Passenger discount.

3.Referee must between 18-35 years old at the time of travel.

7.If booking is made within 14 days of the departure, we cannot guarantee receipt of physical vouchers unless traveler expedites their documents at an additional cost. Scanned copies are not available

8.Contiki is not responsible if a Referrer fails to properly identify a Referee. Contiki will not retroactively record a friend who was not identified at the time of sign-up.

9.Contiki will not allow a Referee to be claimed by more than one Referrer. Once a Referee’s e-mail address has been given, it may not be changed.

10.Cash will be given out in the form of a gift card from a major credit card company with a value of $100. Gift card will be issued to Referrer only after Referee completes travel on their trip of 8 days or longer. If a Referee cancels for any reason, the referral reward is forfeited.
