Germany Tour Packages

Where to begin with a country so richly steeped in history as Germany? Once home to composers Beethoven, Bach and Brahms as well as several important Renaissance artists, Germany is brimming with culture. From the booming financial district of Frankfurt to the historically significant concentration camps of Dachau and the remains of the iconic Berlin Wall, you’ll find countless examples of revolution and evolution that have shaped the Germany we know today.

Munich is the pride of Bavaria. It's charming cobble-stoned streets, famous beer halls and festive spirit make it one of the most enjoyable cities to visit in the world. Of course it is home to the largest beer festival  in the world.

Cuisine:  Germany is famed for their street food.  Popular German foods include Black Forest cake, gingerbread, potato dumplings, pork dishes and various sausages such as Weisswurt, eaten with a pretzel, bread and some sweet mustard.   Brez'n are large pretzels topped with rock salt and cheese.  In Berlin you will find pickled eggs, shrimp salad and meatballs, as well as a spicy sausage called currywurst.

Choose from escorted Germany tours, rail packages, city stays and river cruises through Germany.  June through September is the best time to travel as the days are warm and the nights are cool.  May and October are nice as well, with less crowds.  It can get quite cold in the winter, however in late November and December, Germany is full of delightful Christmas markets where you can buy hand made ornaments and gifts.

Our German vacations will leave you with powerful memories of a European superpower, your camera full of stunning scenery and architecture, and a desire to revisit this complex and compelling country.
