The River Victoria ship is staffed with a physician to provide basic and limited medical care and medications. The physician is an independent contractor. There will be a fee charged for all medical services and medications obtained on board. If a guest becomes ill during the cruise and the physician is unable to care for your needs onboard, the guest will be transferred to medical facilities on shore. Uniworld recommends travelers obtain appropriate insurance that will provide them with medical and emergency evacuation coverage while traveling abroad. Any necessary medical attention will be at the passenger’s expense. The Company is not responsible or liable for any losses or costs incurred as a result of medical services obtained while on tour, or for the quality of the care or services received
