The ms Rotterdam is the standard-bearer for Holland America Line's fleet of ships, never more so than now, with the latest Signature of Excellence enhancements completed in December 2009.
Holland America Line is pleased to introduce its latest innovation, Lanai staterooms, to ms Rotterdam. Your onboard experience will be defined by spacious, artfully appointed public areas and the latest Signature of Excellence venues, features and amenities. Guests aboard will enjoy elegant dining rooms, a $2 million art and antique collection, wide teak decks and spacious staterooms - many with private verandahs. Young children (ages 3-7) can participate in story telling, fabric painting, indoor games, arts and crafts, pirate treasure hunts, and ice cream and pizza parties.*Children in this age group MUST be toilet trained. Pull-ups or diapers are not allowed in the youth facilities, due to mandates from U.S. Public Health. No exceptions will be made.
- The Loft
Teens (ages 13-17) will especially enjoy the teen disco, karaoke sessions, video games, sports tournaments, card games, trivia contests, movies and videos. When there are more than 100 children on board, a Talent Show is offered. - The Oasis
The name says it all. This outdoor area is the perfect oasis for teen guests who just want to swing on a hammock, or relax in a lounge chair, and hang out with their new-found friends enjoying the sun and sea. - Club HAL Gameroom
Tweens (ages 8-12) will enjoy golf putting, disco and theme parties, competing in on-deck sports events, participatiing in scavenger hunts or simply playing Ping-Pong with a friend.
