Here are just a few of the things you can enjoy on a Carnival Cruise.
Just say ahhh: Kick your feet up and relax a while. There are plenty of ways to let go while your ship is on the go. Plop down in a spacious deck chair by the pool and enjoy the view, or enjoy some adult only time in the Serenity relaxation area, complete with whirlpool and chair-side service.
Nightlife: Just because the sun goes down doesn’t mean the fun is over. Feel free to stay up until the wee hours if you’d like. Don’t worry, the office isn’t going to be calling you into work tomorrow, so why not try a little bit of everything? Double down in the casino, laugh out loud at a comedy show, sing your heart out at karaoke, take in a larger-than-life stage show, sing at the piano bar or dance the night away in one of the clubs. Then again, you may want to catch a game, on a big flat screen at the sport bar. You can also watch movies and sports on the 12x22 outdoor screen of Carnival’s Seaside Theatre.
Bet on It: The casino is open day and night while at seas, so go ahead and pull the lever and go all in. Whether you’ve got a convincing poker face, feel like doubling down or want to whoop it up at the craps table, Carnival has a game for you.
Slip and slide: You don’t have to be a kid to get a kick out of splashing around Carnival’s WaterWorks or slipping down Carnival’s Twister Waterslide.
Have a ball: Play nine holes on the mini-golf course, short hoops on the basketball court or try your hand at table tennis. If sports aren’t your speed, head to the fitness center to work out with ocean views. Or take a spinning, yoga r Pilates class. Then there’s onboard shopping. That’s exercise, right?
Food choices: On Carnival you will find lots of options for fueling up on board, morning, noon and night. Go casual and make a plate exactly how you like it at the Lido deck buffet, enjoy fine cuisine with award-winning service in the main dining room or order stateroom service whenever you’d like. With Carnival’s Your Choice Dining, you can eat whenever you’d like. You can eat at dinner in the main dining room anytime between 5:45 and 9:30 p.m. Of course if you like set dining, you can also choose from early and late seating as well. Ready to treat your taste buds?
For breakfast you can choose from quite the assortment of fresh baked breads, pastries, pancakes, waffles and French toast, or have an omelet made to order, served buffet style at the Lido deck restaurant or table service in the main dining room. For lunch you can forget about boring sandwiches. Head to the Lido deck for specialty stations including Rotisserie, Mongolian Wok, Taste of Nations international options, New York style deli, Pizzeria and salad bar. You can also grab a grilled burger or chicken sandwich by the pool. Need an afternoon snack or pick me up? For dinner, savor every morsel with the expansive dining room menu. Some evenings include lobster or steak, and don’t miss the popular Warm Chocolate Melting Cake. For an even finer dining experience, take your date to the specialty steakhouse, (nominal fee is charged.) Here you’ll enjoy mouthwatering gourmet cuisine. Also enjoy 24 hour complimentary stateroom service. Plus, get oven-baked pizzas, calzones and salads, and soft-serve ice cream and frozen yogurt whenever the craving strike.
Kids programs: A Carnival cruise is not just for adults, kids or grandparents. Carnival ensures there’s enough love to go around with age appropriate programs and activities for all ages. That being said, Carnival has a wonderful kids program for ages 2 to 17. Youth programs are supervised by counselors who have college degrees in related fields or professional childcare experience. Here are just a few ways Carnival keeps families happy.
Young kids ages 2 to 5 are going to have a blast with toys and arts and crafts. Juniors ages 6 to 8 can make spin art and play games and more. And kids ages 9 to 11 can chill at pool parties and go on scavenger hunts. Young teens ages 12 to 24 hang out together for late-night movies, nighttime swims, sports, the latest video games and dance parties. There are also special shore excursions available just for them. Teens ages 15 to 17 gather in their own lounge area to play the latest video games, relax in comfy seats, dance on the state-of-the-art dance floor and hang at the non-alcoholic drink bar. Plus, there are even teen-only shore excursions. While you enjoy some time on your won, Carnival will be happy to take care of children ages 11 and under. Available every night from 10 pm to 3 am.
